Furniture importer and manufacturer Hooker Furniture will buy High Point -based Home Meridian International in a $100 million deal. It will be the largest acquisition made by Hooker Furniture (NASDAQ: HOFT) in its 91-year history, more than doubling the size of the Martinsville, Va.-based company.
