Smithfield parent WH Group announced it named Kenneth Sullivan as an executive director and a member of the board’s environmental, social and governance committee and its food safety committee effective Jan. 22.

In November, Sullivan was named president and chief executive officer of Smithfield Foods following C. Larry Pope’s Dec. 31, 2015, retirement.

WH Group also named You Mu as an executive director effective Jan. 22.
You became president of WH Group subsidiary Henan Shuanghui Investment & Development Co. in August 2015.
