Bernie Sanders has defeated Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary in New Hampshire.
Sanders’s victory further legitimizes his long-shot challenge against Clinton, who led here by 40 points before the fringe independent senator and avowed democratic socialist came out of nowhere to galvanize the progressive base.
