South Africa lifts de facto ban on U.S. pork

South Africa now is accepting a variety of U.S. pork exports including raw and frozen pork for unrestricted sale and for further processing. The National Pork Producers Council, which worked with the Obama administration to convince Pretoria to lift a de facto ban on U.S. pork, welcomed the news.
