State Water Infrastructure Authority to meet March 4 in Raleigh

The State Water Infrastructure Authority, or SWIA, will meet at 9:00 a.m. March 4, 2016 in the first floor training room (#1210) at Green Square, located at 217 W. Jones St. in Raleigh. The meeting is open to the public.


The meeting agenda includes:
• Affordability Criteria Update
• State Project Grant Priority System Update
• Asset Inventory and Assessment Grant Update
• Merger/Regionalization Feasibility Grant Update
• Drinking Water State Revolving Fund: Loan Priority Approval Modification
• Master Plan Committee Report

The SWIA is an independent body with primary responsibility for awarding federal and state funding for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Other responsibilities include developing a state water infrastructure master plan, recommending ways to maximize the use of available loan and grant funding resources, and examining best and emerging practices.
