The U.S. Forest Service is giving the public an unusual peek. Forest Service spokeswoman Lisa Jennings said the agency has posted the initial documents, or “building blocks” of the Nantahala and Pisgah Forest Plan on its website, months in advance of the official release of the draft plan this fall - a rare move for the federal agency.
