Wheat Mosaic Virus identified in Coastal Plain

Soil-borne Wheat Mosaic Virus has been identified on wheat in the eastern part of North Carolina.  However, NC State Extension Grain Specialist Dr. Ron Heiniger, has gone on to say that it could be powdery mildew, a very rare occurrence in the state.
