It’s taken a while to assess the freeze damage to the state’s peach crop in North Carolina, says Mike Parker, NCSU Tree fruit extension specialist explains: “We have a batter feel, we know that the freezing temperatures that we had, it would have been on the morning of March 30th, then again on the morning, of Sunday, April 3rd, had an effect on the tree fruit crops in the state.
