If there was more that could happen to the winter wheat crop in eastern North Carolina, many would have had to think hard, but it has.  Pamlico, Craven, Beaufort, Washington, Tyrell, Hyde, Dare, Chowan, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Camden and Gates Counties have all been tagged as medium to high risk for scab.
