EPA methane rule points to hard-line stance on future regs

Newly finalized U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations seeking to slash methane emissions from new and modified oil and gas infrastructure are even tougher than what the agency proposed in August, which experts say is a sign that the EPA will take a similarly hard line when crafting more sweeping rules for existing oil and gas sources.
