Senator hints meat might be exempted from GMO labeling: Politico

Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.) suggested at a hearing this week that a GMO labeling bill currently being drafted could exempt meat, according to Politico.


Her comment was in answer to a question at a Senate Agriculture Committee meeting on Thursday.
No word on when that bill might be offered.
