A Currituck County family says their 3-foot-tall miniature horse was killed in her pen by a pack of coyotes. Chris Horton, the son of property owner Karen Williams, tells The Virginian-Pilot the miniature horse, named Sunny Girl, was killed on the night of May 29 behind the family's Moyock home.
