Recently, NC State Economist, Dr. Mike Walden released his economic impact numbers for agriculture and they’ve risent to $84 billion, up $8 billion from the previous year. The analysis showed that there was across-the-board growth in value-added income in each of the three sectors of agriculture and food, fiber, and forestry.
