Two-term Republican U.S. Rep. Richard Hudson of the 8th District cruised to victory in Tuesday night’s primary.
Hudson defeated Raeford businessman Tim D’Annunzio, 16,305 votes to 8,943 votes, according to complete but unofficial results.
