There were 6.3 days suitable for field work across the Tar Heel State last week as reported in the latest Crop Progress report from USDA for conditions through Sunday, June 26th, the same number as last week.  Topsoil moisture is rated at 7% very short, 24% short, 59% adequate and 10% surplus.
