USDA: Corn holds at 75% good/excellent; soybeans slip to 72%

Corn’s condition stayed at 75% good to excellent in the latest week, while soybeans slipped 1 point to 72%, USDA said on Monday. Farm Futures calculated a 0.28 bpa slippage in its expected average corn yield to 171.5 bpa due to condition declines in some states. Soybean potential slipped an estimated 0.3 bpa to 47.9.
