The Tobacco Farm Life Museum will be hosting an AgCamp July 11th-15th. Programming will include on-farms tours, traditional crafts and activities and speakers from the agriculture community. The camp is open to students age 8-12 and will run from 9am-3pm. The students will visit Lazy-O-Farms and the Wilson County Extension office to explore careers in agriculture, care of animals, and the conservation of natural resources. The camp is sponsored by Duke Energy and will feature the agriculture coloring books created through the Museum’s 2015 Duke Energy grant. This is the first time in several years that the Museum will be holding a summer camp and we are excited for the opportunity to serve our community in this way. Admission to the camp is $100 and includes all activities, meals, snacks and a t-shirt. Please contact the Museum at 919-284-3431 or e-mail Melody Worthington at curator@tobaccofarmlifemuseum.org to register.
