June breaks worldwide temperature record

June was the 14th month in a row to break its global temperature record. The average temperature in June was 1.62 degrees Fahrenheit above the 20th-century average of 59.9 degrees Fahrenheit, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said on Tuesday.
