Duke Energy Renewables now provides wind and solar operating and monitoring services for 1,000 megawatts worth of renewable projects owned by other companies. The rapid growth in services sold to third parties is in part attributable to the expanded control center it opened last year in the NASCAR Plaza Building in Charlotte at a cost of $3 million.
