Congressman Walter B. Jones (NC-3) has been honored with the Freedom Fighter Award from leading grassroots conservative organization FreedomWorks.  The Freedom Fighter Award was presented to members of Congress who consistently voted to defend economic freedom in 2015.

Congressman Jones was one of the highest-ranked members of the House of Representatives on FreedomWorks’ annual scorecard with a near-perfect rating on 21 key votes.  Scored votes included those to cut wasteful government spending, to fully repeal Obamacare, to disapprove of harmful EPA rules, and to prevent the Department of Education to coerce states into implementing Common Core, among other things.
