On Friday, we heard from NC State Ag Economist Dr. Mike Walden regarding North Carolina’s ag economy, and the possible benefits to agriculture regarding free trade.  Both presidential candidates are opposed to the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, and Republican candidate Donald Trump has even gone so far to say that he’d like to see the 20-year old North American Free Trade Agreement, NAFTA, opened and reworked.
