EPA’s latest atrazine report ignores science

A recent Environmental Protection Agency draft report on atrazine ignores a large body of scientific evidence affirming the herbicide’s safety, according to the Nation al Corn Growers Association. The ecological risk assessment for atrazine, which is one step of the re-registration process all pesticides face every 15 years, relies on studies the EPA’s own Science Advisory Panel deemed “flawed” in 2012.
