The Port of Wilmington has completed the expansion project of its turning basin.
The expansion allows the port to accommodate bigger vessels including the Yang Ming Unity, which measures over 1,100 feet in length. The ship came into port Sunday, making it the largest vessel to ever call on the Port of Wilmington.
