A proposed solar farm in Jones County is stirring up controversy. The farm, which is planned to be built on more than 25 acres of land near the Trent Farms community off Highway 17, would be just feet from some houses. “I’ve never heard of one being so close to houses,” said Walter Castles, who is just one of many concerned neighbors.
