Tickets are available for Dinner in the Meadow, an annual event that raises funds to provide grants to small farmers in North Carolina. The event is 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sept 11 at Meadow Lane Farm in Louisburg. Franklin County extension agent Martha Mobley started the nonprofit in memory of her husband and her mother.
