NCA&T wins $1.12M grant for urban, sustainable ag research

The United States Department of Agriculture announced Monday that North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro has been awarded a $1,120,427 grant for a new food research building. The grant is part of an $18.9 million package of awards distributed by the USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) to build or improve agricultural and food science research facilities and equipment at historically black land-grant colleges and universities.
