The Upper Coastal Plains Research Station near Rocky Mount, NC, will host the 2016 Cotton Field Day on Sept. 15. Exhibits open and registration begins at 11a.m. followed by lunch and short program. “We will have a three-stop 'Weed Management’ tour incorporating research findings dealing with Liberty/dicamba, managing weeds with cover crops, and weed control in Xtend Flex cotton,” said Guy Collins, NC State Extension cotton agronomist.
