A local business is joining the fight to grow the declining bee population by having a bee hive installed at their own business.
Be Home Realty, off Aversboro Road, partnered with Durham-based Bee Downtown to install a beehive on their roof and in their office Thursday. A group of children dropped by the store to check out the beehive, which is framed in a cassette.
