The staff of the Boone Branch of Carolina Farm Credit recently helped to winterize a chicken coop and create a water catchment system for the community garden at Hospitality House.  The non-profit works to feed and house local lower-income residents of the High Country.  Hospitality House provides as much food as possible from their local garden and chicken coop to feed the residents at the house.

This community service project is part of a Carolina Farm Credit initiative implemented by Carolina Farm Credit’s Community Diversity and Inclusion Committee.  Each branch location is being offered the chance to participate in community service projects throughout the year.
