N.C. solar construction likely peaked in 2015, report says

North Carolina solar companies invested almost $1.7 billion in building more than 900 megawatts worth of solar projects in 2015. But spending is likely to drop to $1 billion or less this year, according to estimates included in the most recent Solar Market Insight report released this week by the Solar Energy Industries Association and GTM Research.
