Piedmont tobacco faltering to the finish line

Up until about three weeks ago, North Carolina producers were excited about their tobacco crop.  Bryant Spivey, Director of Johnston County Extension says trouble showed up in August, and leaf growers all of a sudden had to deal with a wide array of issues, some a hangover from Tropical Storm Hermine, some not:
