EPA dodges suit to put emission regs on animal feedlots

A D.C. federal judge threw out a lawsuit by an animal welfare organization and environmentalists trying to force the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to regulate emissions from animal feedlots under the Clean Air Act, finding Tuesday that the groups didn’t give the required notice to the agency before filing their case.
