Commissioners want more input on solar farms

An influx of solar farm projects has prompted the Davie County commissioners to take a harder look at the burgeoning industry.
As it is now, companies that receive permits from the state may build in residential-zoned districts if it meets certain conditions, such as the height of the solar panels.
