At the 3 weekly livestock auctions held Monday at Canton, Siler City and Turnersburg a total of 1,438 cattle and 87 goats were sold. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to $6.00 lower, slaughter bulls were mixed. Feeder heifer were $4.00 to $25.00 lower, slaughter steers and bulls were $4.00 to $16.00 lower when compared to the previous sales.
