Panelists at the Making Energy Work Conference in Raleigh gathered Tuesday to talk about why they think a vision for North Carolina’s energy future is important. North Carolina’s renewable energy industry has the potential to create 15,000 new jobs by 2026, said Diane Cherry, strategic director of the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, who moderated the panel.
