While certainly something that nobody wished for, effects from Hurricane Matthew in South Carolina aren’t as bad as they could have been, and David DeWitt, Clemson Extension Agent in Darlington, Horry, Marion and Florence Counties says it’s not as bad as October 2015:“That’s exactly right.  I don’t  think we’re going to see quite the calamity and disasters we saw in last year’s flooding."
