Baby ginger is fresher, doesn't need peeling

There’s fresh ginger and then there’s really fresh ginger. And two local farms have been bringing the freshest ginger to Triad tables for the past few years. Plum Granny Farm in King and Shore Farms Organics in Yadkinville are growing what is known as “baby” ginger. And now is the season for it.
