NCDA warns of harvesting crops that were covered with flood waters

Now that flood waters from Hurricane Matthew are receding, North Carolina Department of Agriculture is cautioning farmers that are getting harvest back underway about feed grains.  NCDA Assistant Commissioner for Consumer Protection, Joe Reardon:
“It’s very, very unfortunate, but even as the flood waters recede from those lands that may have peanuts in it, may have sweet potatoes in it..."
