Officials from the U.S. Department of Agriculture toured the Hendersonville Community Co-op Tuesday, timed with National Cooperative Month in North Carolina. Sam Rikkers, administrator of USDA’s Rural Business-Cooperative Service, viewed the natural grocery store facility and spoke as part of USDA’s annual observance of the cooperative business model.
