Charlotte gas prices expected to spike again after second pipeline explosion

Gas prices in the Charlotte area are expected to spike again after a major pipeline in Alabama started leaking this week for the second time in two months. On Monday, the Colonial Pipeline, which supplies gas to the Carolinas and other southeastern states, was shut down after a track hoe struck the pipeline and caused an explosion.
