The fall weather has been unpredictable the last few weeks. Just when we think the cool, autumn temperatures are starting to regulate, we get long stretches of 80-degree days and no significant precipitation. While it may not feel like cold weather is upon us, now is the time to start planning for winter — and consider growing cool-weather crops under cover to extend the harvest.
