It had already been a long day in late October when Deborah Ross answered her phone while traveling home from a rally in Fayetteville featuring former President Bill Clinton.Ross had been traveling the state since early that morning, including stops in Robeson County to help deliver supplies to victims of Hurricane Matthew.
