Dry weather allowing harvest to progress

There were just shy of seven days suitable for field work in North Carolina in the week ended November 6th, about the same as the previous week as reported in the weekly crop progress report.  Mac Malloy with Robeson County Extension reports that dry conditions have allowed harvest to continue for soybeans, peanut, and cotton.
