Exceptional drought shows up in the Tar Heel State

In the latest drought monitor report released by the Drought Mitigation Center for conditions through Tuesday morning, North Carolina’s abnormally dry conditions increased slightly from 28.32% to just over 30%.  The state’s moderate drought conditions also increased from just over 19% to just shy of 25%...
