AgCarolina Farm Credit announces crop insurance alliance with Flatlands Insurance Group

AgCarolina Farm Credit announces effective for the 2017 crop year, the member-owned cooperative has entered into a strategic alliance with Flatlands Insurance Group, a leading provider for all crop insurance services.


Partnering with Flatlands Insurance Group strengthens AgCarolina Farm Credit’s ability to provide the highest level of customer service and support for the farmers in eastern North Carolina.  Flatlands Insurance Group is based within AgCarolina’s 34 county footprint and they share a vision with AgCarolina to be a leader for those in the agricultural community.   


“The crop insurance business has become increasingly complicated, but remains essential to help customers manage farm risk,” stated AgCarolina President & CEO Dave Corum.  “Aligning with the crop insurance experts at Flatlands Insurance Group will ensure customers have access to the most comprehensive coverage options and quality service they have come to expect from AgCarolina.”
