The governor’s race is headed for another round of overtime, as the State Board of Elections has confirmed it will not be able to complete the count of absentee and provisional ballots by today. As such, it could be take until Nov. 29 before canvassing is completed in the contested race between Gov. Pat McCrory and Democratic challenger Roy Cooper, the state’s attorney general.
