Drought conditions in North Carolina continue to creep east

In the latest drought monitor released by the Drought Mitigation Center for conditions through Tuesday morning, North Carolina’s abnormally dry conditions continue to creep eastward, with just over 41% of the state reporting abnormally dry conditions, compared to just over 30% last week.
