Q: Is it legal to grow hemp in North Carolina?
Answer: Under certain circumstances it is legal. Hemp is highly regulated because it is the same genus species as marijuana, only it has such low levels of THC that it won’t produce the same effects as marijuana. The 2014 farm bill authorized that states that have laws allowing hemp production can grow hemp as pilot programs for research...
