Winter wheat acres more than originally anticipated

Commodity prices are such that many producers were ho-hum at best on planting winter wheat, when asked back in the summer.  Hurricane Matthew in early October changed those attitudes with many crops flooded and devalued to the point that they weren’t harvested.
