Eastern North Carolina grateful for the dry spell

Many parts of the state would appreciate a good rain, but in the eastern part of North Carolina, they’ve not seen significant rain since Hurricane Matthew, and they’re glad for a long stretch of dry weather.  Rod Gurganus, Director of Beaufort County Extension:“As bad as it is in other parts of the state being under drought conditions, for us this is a welcome reprieve."
